Due to limited capacity, any cancellations requests must be made for at least 7-days prior to your session for a full refund. Requests made within 7-days of your booking will be rescheduled only.

In the event that a guest does not arrive for your booking, this will be considered a last-minute cancellation and no refund will be issued.

We will only refund bookings based on a full booking cancellation made 7-days prior to your booking.

All refunds will be made in one transaction to the same method of payment made at the time of booking. Refunds will be actioned within 72 hours of your event.

Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with company procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of The Garden Society, its employees and guests and their health and safety.

Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of The Garden Society, or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff.

We reserve the right to refuse our services or remove you and members of your party from The Garden Society, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached.

Guests displaying symptoms associated with a possible COVID-19 infection will be asked to leave The Garden Society with immediate effect. Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for your lost reservation, services or any other loss or expense incurred.

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred The Secret Garden or The Garden Society during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing or damaged when you leave.

Guests are not permitted to smoke in The Secret Garden or public areas at the The Garden Society. Smoking in our premises outside of the designated smoking areas will result in a £150 fine.

Ambient music is provided in The Secret Garden, unfortunately we can not play personal playlists for your secret experience.

Power points are provided in each secret space.

Personal Belongings 

Please note we cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings.

There are no lockers or space to leave personal belongings so we suggest you only bring essential items.

Prams and pushchairs are allowed within The Secret Garden, however we ask that where possible to keep these to a minimum due to limited space.

Please note no dogs are permitted within The Secret Garden.

The Potting Shed – A traditional English country garden setting with overgrown florals and zinc features

The Souk – A myriad of Middle Eastern colours and textures with arid planting and bejewelled elements, inspired by Jardin Majorelle, Marrakech. 

The Retreat – A Balinese escape with tropical flora in an exotic spa like setting.

The Hideaway – A multifunctional contemporary space with stylised planting and all white features. 

Each secret space includes a themed secret menu of food and drink inspired by the far corners of the world with a choice of afternoon tea, Mediterranean grazing feasts, a Persian mezze and pan-Asian inspired small plates.

Each menu includes an alcoholic and non-alcoholic welcome drink on arrival. You will be requested to note all of your guests requirements upon receiving your booking detail request form.

The Bar Menu includes a botanical mix of cocktails and mocktails inspired by each of our four secret spaces.

Unfortunately The Secret Garden does not permit additional food and drink to be brought into any event.

The Secret Garden is the latest creation to The Garden Society offering the hire of four unique private areas within the grounds of The Garden Society.

Our seasonal Afternoon Tea offer is available with a reservations  at £29 per person for seating within The Palm Room.

The Secret Garden is a wheelchair friendly environment, however we do require prior notification at the time of booking.

Please note that a minimum of 6 tickets must be purchased for hire of one of our secret spaces or a minimum spend of £300. If you would like to book for less than 6 people, please email reservations@thegardensociety.co.uk where your reservation will be managed by our host and a prepayment of £300 will be taken.
