COVID-19 OPERATING STATEMENT
FROM THURSDAY 5TH NOVEMBER WE ARE OPEN MON – SUN 10AM – 4PM
The Government has announced that garden centres, along with supermarkets and DIY stores, may remain open to the public wherever possible. In line with this, we feel it is important that we continue to stay open for our loyal customers who have given us so much support during recent months, and at the same time offer valuable continuity to our hard-working team and our many local and regional suppliers.
We will be open for you to shop during this period, with our hours changed slightly for now to welcome you Monday – Sunday 10:00 – 16:00
The Orangery Tea House Restaurant will be closed until restrictions are eased again. However The Bakery & Deli is now open serving takeaway drinks, deli sandwiches, freshly baked goods and of course our legendary cakes for you to continue to enjoy!
We have put measures in place for the safety of our customers and staff. Please read the following guidelines so you know what to expect while shopping with us:
We are limiting customer numbers in-store, and have set up a queuing system to facilitate this
We request that customers shop individually or together in no more than TWO people, whether that be two adults or an adult and a child (exceptions for single parents will be considered)
No entry without a face covering; customers visiting our Garden Centres and Farm Shops must wear a face covering to be allowed entry
Floor markers have been placed throughout the store to help maintain 2-metre distancing
We have introduced one-way entry and exits
We have additional cleaning and hygiene measures in place, including frequently sanitising commonly touched areas, paying special attention to check-outs and credit card pin pads
We are requesting that all payments are made by card (chip & pin or contactless using a card or mobile device). Contactless limits are £45 for card payments, and £500 for Apple pay and other mobile pay platforms
The business is complying with Government Guidance, do not enter premises if you have symptoms
