An Interior Design Concept for The Crest, Archers Wood
Our focus for the interior of The Crest was to commemorate the surrounding natural woodland of Archers Wood and bring the outside into this four bedroom home.
Using Bargate Home’s practical layouts we started the design process of this show home by considering how a family would use the space day-to-day whilst never compromising on style and creativity.
The large triple aspect kitchen brings dining, entertainment and function together. The design for this space is sophisticated for the modern family.
Introducing the subtle contrast of dark natural oak and elm surfaces, we were able to enhance the white quartz worktop and bring interest to the bright open plan living space.
A MODERN FAMILY HOME
Whilst the warm neutral tones compliment the matt cashmere kitchen units.
We don't believe in hiding beautiful ceramics cupboards, so the addition of stone accents and a display of our favourite Broste Nordic Sands tableware really pull the overall aesthetic of this Kitchen design together.
Moving into the living space, you’ll notice our passion for the outdoors is truly brought to life with the use of muted greens and warm neutrals to complement those garden views.
With our inspiration pulled from the surrounding environment and a desire for cosy luxury we incorporated this Broste ‘Wind’ sofa and armchair into this space for a touch of classic mid-century aesthetic with a modern twist.
PASSION FOR THE OUTDOORS
The ‘grape leaf green’ and ‘the rainy day’ colourways from the furniture create a bold look whilst the muted greens and warm neutral accents form an overall cozy and relaxing environment.
The amazing macro photography from Liljebergs suits the space perfectly which is why we made it such a feature. Every photo captures the element of nature’s design in a botanical archival study.
Continuing with our theme of bringing the outdoors in, our aim was to inspire young family members in the home with nature. Using Nordic style values with natural untreated wood, soft colours and delicate prints - the playroom is a fun and stylish area.

We added an enchanted tree with delicate micro lights to spark the imagination and this teepee to encourage play all day long!
