BARGATE HOMES
An Interior Design Concept for The Honeysuckle, Bishop's Meadow
We inherit a sense of identity from the landscape we derive from, this could be our values, traditions and environments which all share our sense of comfort and style to build on our heritage.

Heritage is central to our concept at Bishops Meadow and exploring the landscape around us, the open spaces and whimsical meadows that encompass this development all feed into the creative for the interior concept at The Honeysuckle.

For the living space we’ve played with soft powdery colour palette, heritage artefacts and playful objects in bright tones.
THE LIVING ROOM
Big statement floral arrangements pull in the meadow concept displayed in these strong, powder coated metal structures for a contemporary edge. The quirky rainbow mirror, the terrazzo rug and the embroidered cushions are all key features.
The walls are colour matched to the kitchen for a seamless aesthetic. This pushes back the functionality and playful interjections with ceramics, stoneware and natural wood to add layers of interest.
THE KITCHEN
We’ve created zonal living areas in the dining space with soft, comfortable seating, mirrors and objects to make this kitchen space a real family living space. Keeping the colours paired back we have added natural materials and floral elements to bring the space to life.
As working from home is a real consideration now, we wanted to create a space which was inspiring and removed from the ‘home’ but comfortable enough to encourage productivity.
THE HOME OFFICE
The oak acoustic panelling is a real feature and our bespoke shelving, colour matched to the walls in this deep taupe allow for the office storage, stationary and artefacts to really pop.
This guest bedroom plays on the 'sherbety' sorbet colours which wouldn’t conventionally work on the wall colour, textiles and objects. Using natural rattan and weave for the furniture adds a neutral structure.
THE GUEST BEDROOM
These ‘Lolly’ lamps from Broste echo an Art Deco elegance with a contemporary finish from the matt frosted glass and sandblasted metalwork fixtures.
This fairytale forest is a dream bedroom for any young princess.
THE FAIRYTALE BEDROOM
The whimsical floral installation is a real focal point and this is juxtaposed with our signature Nordic style principles, using these soft ‘Pond’ pouffes, linen bed canopy and rattan furniture for the ultimate dreamy but contemporary children’s bedroom.
Evoking a feeling of laid back living, the choices of soft neutral colours and clean, transparent accessories make this space an inviting sanctuary.
THE MASTER BEDROOM & BATHROOM
Styling with white washed natural materials, white powder coated consoles and relaxed textiles are enhanced with coloured glass, beautiful florals and floaty window dressings. With added BLOOMS by Samuel Baker hand care and fragrance to awaken the senses add to the botanical concept.
This meadow themed space combines a child’s bedroom and playroom.
THE MEADOW BEDROOM
Our custom raised bed mimics the vistas of Bishops Meadow through the window with textural grass style hills with felt tonal toadstools. An interactive vegetable patch play area with fun Jellycat Vivacious Vegetables all add to the exploratory nature of this space.
